CS6 illustrator and InDesign specialist. Being an instructor at an art based college is very much like being a tutor. It is not about lecturing 60 students at one time, Instead it is one-on-one training after topics of study are presented to a class numbering less than 20. I have taught at the Art Institute of Philadelphia College for over 30 years and also at Hussian School of Art College Philadelphia for 15 years. I want to be a tutor because I feel that I will enjoy it. I was a New Jersey School Board member for six years and helped maintain and create policy, I have worked with and for some of the greatest commercial artist and designers in the advertising field. Hundreds of my former students still stay in touch and ask for my mentoring.

I have developed a teaching process that has proven itself successful over the years. I explain what the subject is and what the goal(s) is/are. Next, I deliver the subject material and support the information with demonstrations, handouts, and one-on-one coverage. After this is complete I ex[lain in a toyally different manner what has been presented and accomplished.
